Whispers of Pain: A Journey to Resilience

It began as a whisper, soft and slight,
A fleeting shadow, lost in light.
Yet, like a parasite, it crept unseen,
Feeding, gnawing, where joy had been.

I once danced in careless glee,
Laughter boundless, wild, and free.
Oh, to be that child again,
Unfazed by loss, untouched by pain.

But life is more than play and song,
It tests, it bends, it makes you strong.
A silent battle, a war unknown,
Fought within, yet never shown.

I watched the children—pure, untried,
Smiles unchained, no truths denied.
If only they knew what time would bring,
The weight, the ache, the suffering.

Though young, I feel the years so deep,
Not as I was, nor as I seem.
A scar now smolders in my chest,
A ghost of joy I once possessed.

Had I known, I would have cried,
Called to heavens, far and wide.
Perhaps the wind would bear my plea,
And mercy find its way to me.

But I am not broken, only wise,
I see the truth behind the lies.
No wound is small, no pain too slight,
For even whispers turn to might.

I am OLOOTU—hear me speak,
A voice once lost, now bold, unique.
Take heed, dear soul, hold fast, beware,
For even whispers fill the air.
